2002-2005
For once I went for more than a year before changing how Brocko looked. For a whole two years (2000 and 2001) Brocko kept the same look, however I finally realised that if I wanted to really separate him from the Sonic world, I needed to remove a lot of the features that made him look like a Sonic character, so in 2002 I set about giving him what I hoped would be his final re-design. However this new design didn't come about on the first try, oh no, there were many attempts to get a new style and look for Brocko pinned down, in fact most of 2002 was spent trying to work on a new design for Brocko that I felt worked. However at one point during 2002 I finally came up with a new look for Brocko, it wasn't a huge change from his current look, however it was enough (as far as I was concerned at any rate) to remove him from the Sonic world and give him his own look. I felt he looked more like his own character, more mature and had little connection with the older Sonic styled versions of Brocko, which was what I had been after.
