2006 - Present
Once again, I had gone for more than a year without a re-design - in fact I had gone about 4 years before I finally made a decision. Brocko had been a project that I had never given up on and over the time I had spent developing it and the characters, I had continually changed Brocko as well, however I had also changed my mind about how the story was going to be told. I knew I couldn't be a video game designer - not enough of the right skills, however I still wanted to tell my story, so I decided why not do it that way? Why not make it into a story? However that meant that I would have to come up with a name for the story (which was the hardest part) however it also made me think. I wanted to make the story deeper and darker, however I felt that I could only go so far with the characters I had, which wasn't far enough, I didn't see my characters as being as easy to relate too as say, a human character would be. So i made the toughest choice I could, I decided that the characters would no longer be anthropomorphic animals - basically abandoning the form they had all had for almost eight years and instead decided to make them humanoid type characters. This was a huge step, but one that I do not regret, it helped me to improve on what was already there, expand upon the world more, do things I hadn't even thought about or had not felt I could do in the past and the end result is one I am happy with. Brocko has come a long way in his evolution, however he hasn't finished yet. While he will still remain a human type character there are so many things that I can do with him now and I have a lot of plans in-store for him, so just keep watching because this, is only the beginning.
