1996-1997
This was the first version of Brocko that was ever created. However back when he was first created he wasn't known as Brocko, he was instead known as Whiplash and he wasn't a hero character either - he was a bounty hunter. He was made at a point where I was very heavily influenced by Sonic the Hedgehog and this shows through quite a lot, as he was heavily influenced himself by Nack the Weasel (or Fang the Sniper, whatever you want). This decision, to make him a bounty hunter and not a hero, was taken mainly because I already had a Sonic world hero character of my own and Whiplash became a sort of enemy/rival for my hero character.
