Brocko is about 5-foot 9-inches tall, he has black hair with a white line going down back and he has brown eyes. He wears a blue short sleeved, hooded, jacket that has black trimming on it, he wears a white T-shirt underneath this. He wears a pair of navy blue shorts, a pair of fingerless gloves in the same colour, and a pair of blue trainers with a white pattern on then.
About:
Brocko lives in a large village on the outskirts of his islands capital, Syntech City, where he lives in a fair sized house almost alone. His mother dies 10 years ago in a mysterious war that suddenly broke out, shortly after that his father and brother vanished as well. Since then Brocko has lived by himself, however his friend Yuki (who lived with her grandmother, until she died two year previously) regularly comes to stay at his to help him out, as while Brocko is fine with looking after the house, he's not so good when it come to cooking. Within his village he has a number of friends, such as his cousin Reed, and his other friends Yuki, Phina and Retro all of which meet up together regularly. However while he is out shopping with Yuki one day events happen that take his life out of his hands and put him onto the path of the hero.
Description:
Brocko a very mature person, however he does have quite a few lapses in that maturity, most of which can either end up in humorous or dangerous situations. He has been trained in hand-to-hand and sword combat and he is very good at them both. When younger his father trained him and Brocko's older brother, however Brocko was always able to beat his brother (though this was only because Brocko trained a lot more than his brother did!). However shortly after the death of his mother both Brocko's father and brother vanished and he was left alone. For many years he stayed with his cousin however Brocko eventually returned to his house and started living there again. Brocko now can take care of himself very well, however the only thing he can't do is cook, so his friend Yuki often comes over to stay with him and help him out, else Brocko usually goes over to his friends for food. Brocko was brought up to be honourable in battle and to also have respect for everyone around him, as such Brocko is very well adjusted with people and seems to have little problem with most people he meets. However one day his entire world is thrown into chaos when he and Yuki are attacked in the main city by a horde of unknown creatures, this encounter removes his fate from his own hands and places him into the role of a hero, even though he is very reluctant to be one. As the main protagonist of the story Brocko needs to have confidence and determination, he also needs to make an iron resolve to continue forward, however he is put to the ultimate test, more than once, during his adventures which threaten to destroy him and his friends if he's not careful.
Role in series:
Brocko is the main protagonist of the story, he starts out as not wanting to be the hero or have the responsibility of one, however as the story develops he fully embraces the role of a hero. However this role is not an easy thing and at times Brocko has to make choices that, while being the right thing to do, are very hard and really make him wonder if he can keep playing the role of the hero.
Personality:
Brocko is a keen learner, always willing to expand upon what he knows, however that is as long as it's not too complex, else he ends up becoming very confused and answers with a simple "Okayyy..."
Brocko is extremely loyal to his friends and does not wish for any of his friends to come to harm. As a result he finds it difficult to allow them to help him as he always worries for them, even after seeing how well they can fight he still worries. While this is nobel and commendable it is also a big problem because it means that he can be distracted easily and the loss of any of his friends would tear him apart on the inside.
Brocko has a very competitive personality and will take any challenge without thinking it through, while this can potentially lead to trouble it can sometimes have rather humorous effects.
Skills and Abilities:
Brocko is highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat and sword fighting, having been trained in both by his father when he was younger. However since his father vanished Brocko has continued to train by himself, as his father taught him that it is a very bad idea to let your skills rust, which Brocko took to heart. However he has not had any real-life battle encounters to test himself, so even with the skills he has, he may find it difficult to use in an actual battle for his life.
For some reason Brocko is completely unaffected by weather conditions, no matter how bad it may seem to others, as long as they are not too extreme and it is not for a prolonged period. Brocko is able to work in many conditions that others would find intolerable without much difficulty, however prolonged exposure to these conditions will eventually cause him to collapse, and if not treated right away, he can end up in a form of coma that lasts for several days.
Brocko has abilities that are far greater than he can imagine, however he has not realised his power yet or that he even has this potential. However as the story progresses this potential rapidly grows, which is an advantage and a disadvantage at the same time.
Weaknesses:
Brocko has a very short temper and can easily over-react to minor things, which in turn can generate more trouble that it should.
He is an extremely stubborn bastard and once he's made his mind up about something it is very difficult to make him change his mind.
He can sometimes be far too trusting for his own good, which can (and does) have disastrous consequences.
Extra Information:
Brocko has the ability to harness and focus 'Life Energy'. In his world there are three main types of energies that people have the ability to harness, they are: Life, Soul and Dyn. Brocko's affinity with Life energy is very strong, however it takes him a while to fully realise his potential but it is not only Life energy that he has a strong affinity with which arrives later in the story and causes a lot of problems for our hero.
