Yuki is 5-foot-5-inches tall, she has brown coloured hair that goes down to the middle of her back, and she has brown eyes as well. She wears a cream coloured top with a matching skirt, both of which have an embroidered pattern on them in a darker colour material, that she made herself. She also wears a belt, a single fingerless glove on her right hand (as she is right handed) and a pair of white trainers with a symbol on them.
About:
Yuki lives in the same village as Brocko does for all her life. She originally lived in the house with her mother and father as well as her grandmother, but during the mysterious war that occurred 10 years ago she lost both her mother and father at the same time, since then she lived with her grandmother. However one day she met up with Brocko, who she found odd, but funny at the same time and they became friends fast. Once Brocko moved back into his own house Yuki regularly went over to Brocko's to help him out because at first he was almost completely useless at looking after himself. Though over time he got better at looking after himself there was still one thing he couldn't do very well... and that was cook for himself. Yuki has developed a good friendship with Brocko, however she has deeper feelings for him than he realises and one day when they were out shopping together an event happens that throws everyone's lives out of their own hands.
Description:
Out of all the members of the team, Yuki is by far the most mature, however not to such a degree where she cannot appreciate the others total lack of maturity at times and lets them enjoy themselves rather than try and stop them (as she knows it would be a waste of time anyway as they would play up even more... it's like looking after children!). Because of this when something goes wrong she normally has to pick up the pieces but this doesn't bother her in the slightest and makes for some very amusing events. She likes helping other people, even if it's only comforting them, she will do what she can to try and help them. She prefers not to fight, however she is very good in weapon related combat, as Brocko discovered when he trained her to fight with a sword. This affinity with weapons and being able to use them so easily came as a shock to Yuki because she hated fighting and anything to do with it, however it is a very important trait that she has and comes in handy for her as the story progresses. Yuki is also the only member of the team who is able to cook properly and it is something that she enjoys doing, as it is in essence helping others (plus she is very creative as well). As one of the main characters in the story Yuki is the focal point of the group that holds them all together. She is shy and quiet on the outside, however she has great strength and confidence when she needs it, with a fierce temper to match - you do not want to make her mad (which in itself is a very hard thing to do!). While she may not need to make the same kind of commitments and resolves that Brocko does, she will need a lot of strength in order to survive the tests that lie ahead of her.
Role in series:
Yuki is one of Brocko's closest friends and she decides to help him as he starts his quest (or even before he starts it). While she may not be the strongest member of the team she is a vital part of it (whether she realizes it or not) and often when she makes a suggestion about something it is normally the right thing to do as her ways are the ones that lead to less battles (however there are some battle that cannot be avoided). Her limited healing abilities are also an essential thing that the team needs, likewise her ability to cook, otherwise the team would have died from malnutrition before they even got anywhere through the story. Brocko sees Yuki as a friends, however Yuki has deeper feelings for Brocko than he realizes.
Personality:
Yuki is a shy, but quietly confident girl, who is quite intelligent. For the most part she is normally a quiet and conscientious person, who does not like any form of conflict and tries to keep the peace between people when she can. However even though she would prefer all battles to not be fought and instead talked about and reasoned she actually has quite a nasty side to her. She is one of those people that when they finally snap, you do not want to be within a 100 miles of, while her role is that of the peace-maker if it comes down to it and she snaps she is lethal in battle.
Yuki is very conscious about others around her, taking more interest in how everyone else is feeling than how she herself feels, as a result she prefers to place other people above herself and help them as much as she can without thinking about herself at all. While this is very good of her, it doesn't help her as she has a lot of grief that she does not wish to tell anyone.
Yuki prefers not to rush into things and think things through carefully, however if this option is not available (either due to circumstances or through the impatience of others) she will just go with the flow of things and hope things turns out for the best.
Skills and Abilities:
Yuki, unlike most of the others, has never been trained in any sort of fighting as she has always been adverse to any sort of conflict, feeling that things can be settled reasonably instead of by killing others. However after she helped Brocko look after himself when he first moved back into his house he decided to repay her by teaching her how to fight using a sword and was amazed at how quickly she was able to pick it up. However Yuki also has some other talents that are extremely helpful, for a start she is the only one out of the group who can actually cook properly (Retro can cook, but only if you like your food burnt!) and she also has the ability to focus her energies in such a way that she is able to heal herself and others, though she can only heal minor wounds and injuries it is nevertheless a useful skill that will come in handy. While she loves the cold weather (especially snow) and has no problem with colder climates, she cannot stand it when it gets too hot and finds it very difficult to keep herself cool. As the story progresses so does Yuki's abilities and while she may think of herself as being a burden to the other fighters in the beginning of the story, she later becomes a valuable part of the team, especially when her abilities find their true power.

She does not like confrontational situations and prefers to try and reason things out instead of fight. This is not that useful when you are, for the most part, always fighting battles that cannot be avoided.

Yuki, thanks to her affinity with Life Energy, has the ability to be able to use and realise the full potential of any weapon that she uses after a very short (sometimes almost instant) period of using the weapon. This makes her very powerful in some respects, though she is not a fighter as a rule, so she is not the strongest person in the group, but this lack of power is made up for by her ability to use any weapon. However the ability to use any weapon is not her only ability, she also has the ability to heal people to a certain degree, which will be a definite bonus in the story.
