Appearance:
Scorp is about 6-foot 2-inches tall, he has short green hair with a beard and mustache that are joined and he has brown eyes. He wears a short, light brown, jacket with no sleeves on it, with a three buttoned shirt underneath. On top of that he wears a mid-brown coloured, water-proof, poncho that has red markings upon it. He also wears a pair of leather gloves, a badly worn pair of jeans and a pair of hiking boots and he also wears a cowboy style hat.

About:
Scorp lives within a tranquil area of the planet Neon known as Sanctuary, where he has lived for all his life. However due to the current political state of the island when he reached 16 he left his home and became an outlaw. Now he fights against the cruel regime that controls Sanctuary - however he and his fellow outlaws are not enough to defeat a government power.
Scorp is a gambler and whenever he plays (and is winning, which is most of the time) he uses his trademark line 'You play the game, very poorly.' however if someone is able to beat him he uses the alternate line of 'You play the game...very well.' This trademark line of his also applies to battles.
Before Scorp battles an opponent he gets out a deck of cards, holds one up to his opponent and says 'Remember your card, when it hits the ground - you dead.' then shuffles the cards and throws them in the air. His deck has an ability applied to it (no one knows how it was done) that allows the deck to stay together in the air and slowly drop cards down. Nine times out of ten when the opponents card hits the ground they are either killed or already have been, followed by his trademark lines.
Scorp makes his way as a Bounty Hunter and is a very fearsome opponent to battle. He has only ever lost to two men - though one them he later killed the last one vanished a long time ago.

Description:
Being an outlaw Scorp has to keep a firm grip on reality, such as where he is, what's going on around him, who he's with, etc. Because of this outlook he has become a hardened person who is more serious than most. However his good luck with gambling and fighting has made rather full of himself, almost to the point of believing that he cannot be beaten - however he does not suffer that delusion as he has only been beaten by two people and while one of them is now dead, the other is in such a place where he will never get the chance to challenge him again. Scorp may be a serious person, however he can always stoop as low as everyone else to be sarcastic and make bad or inappropriate jokes, however this is a way of him allowing himself to relax and forget about his problems, rather than anything else. Scorp lives in the area commonly referred to as the 'Outer Lands' of Sanctuary, where few honest people will travel to and which is also a haven for outlaws. The Sanctuary government have, many times, sent small armies of men into the 'Outer Lands' to destroy the Outlaws who live there, however those soldiers never come back, so no-body, unless order to, goes to the 'Outer Lands'. He has been living there since he was 17 and knows the area extremely well, even more so than other outlaws, which gives him a clear view on how to use the areas to his advantage no matter what the situation. For a long time Scorp has battled the Sanctuary Government trying to free his home from the oppression that it now has to endure, at the cost of many lives, including his own parents. However he knows that he could never make a sizable impact to take it down or to start a civil-war, however he keeps doing what he can in the hope that one day the Government will fall. Though when Brocko and his friends arrive at Sanctuary it looks like Scorp's wish could be answered.

Role in series:
Scorp comes into the series when Brocko and his friends reach the Sanctuary Isles in the 'outer world' as it is known. When they meet Scorp challenges them to a battle - however Brocko makes it a duel between him and Scorp. After the battle Scorp helps them during their adventures at Sanctuary and becomes a member of the team, even leaving Sanctuary with them and joining them on their adventures.

Personality:
Scorp is a very opened minded person, however because of the way that Sanctuary is now being run he has started to lose his fate in people and his view of the world has become very close-minded.
However he also is very interested in the rest of the world and also has an interest in technology and building things. However he is far from a genius and has a limited technical knowledge - however he was able to forge and power his Claw-Blade by himself - as anyone who helps an outlaw in Sanctuary is usually, at the least, thrown in prison.
Scorp is an adventurous person who will go wherever his heart or the wind takes him, in this regard his dream is to explore the rest of the world, whoever not until Sanctuary has been freed from those who currently control it.
Scorp loves a challenge and will normally take one up without thinking, especially if it is related to either battling or gambling. This normally has the chance to get him into a lot of trouble - sometimes with the Officers of Sanctuary, however he is always able to find someway out of whatever situation he gets himself into.

Skills and Abilities:
Scorp has a highly developed sense of survival, having lived by himself as an outlaw for so long. As such he can work out how long he can stay somewhere, how to move about without being seen and he can also cook. He is also a very knowledgeable gambler as he has been doing it since he became an outlaw, and he can easily recognise the other player(s) tell, giving him a huge advantage (this is why he makes such outlandish bets). Apart from this his main fighting style is hand-to-hand though is he also a good marksman and has a weapon of his own devise that he calls the 'Claw Blades'. The Claw Blades are a pair of blade edged weapons that are in the shape of a large scorpions claw, they are held from the inside and have a blade running along the top edge - though there is a clamp on both blades so that they can slot together. The Claw Blades then activate a energy link between each other and they can be used like a whip, holding one and launching the other, which then comes back and clamps on to the one being held. The sides of the Claw Blade can deflect most energy weapon attacks and are made of an extremely strong substance that cannot be easily broken.

Weaknesses:
Scorp can be very single-minded about a lot of things, which normally leads him right into trouble of some sort which he then has to get himself out of.
He can be very rash and does a lot of stupid things. This is because he dives into things head first - however there are times when he can restrain himself, but they are few and far between.
Scorp is not one to back out of a fight, in doing so it makes him feel weak and that if he refused a fight, he might as well hand himself over to the authorities there and then, which of course is a stupid view as he is a very strong person.
Scorp is a notorious gambler and, quite obviously, has a gambling problem. This is a big weakness for him as he tends to put down bets that others would never consider doing and while he has only lost around 3 times he is still someone who gambles a bit too much for his own good.

Extra Information:
Scorp has no 'Energy Affinity' and as such is not aligned with either Life or Soul energy. Instead as he has been alone for a large part of his life he has learned how to survive by himself, one of the abilities he learned while living as an outlaw was how to sense other peoples energy - this allowed his to know who was nearby and whether he was safe or not. As he grew older it became an even more vital skill, helping him out of many scrapes and even aiding him to break into one of Sanctuaries prisons to rescue a friend who had been captured.
